I’ve done faux rock with cement up to my ears in our back yard but these are my first stand alone and purely ornamental projects. I think they came out pretty good for a first time, too. I learned some things, I really need to put more effort and materials into the actual armature of the object, luckily these are small and it’s not a problem but they aren’t something I’d be able to sell either, too fragile. Now that I am more interested in proper armature I’ll be able to work more on shapes, too…….so much to do so little time!

Of these? No, but sooner or later I’ll make a post about the other faux rock work in the back yard. I went to your blog, that’s some very precise work you’re doing there- nicely done!

I do check it out every now and then, there are some very talented folks over there and Sherri Warner Hunter to boot…just been so busy with birds lately. I look forward to a time when I feel free to do that
